The Fish Dress - 2026 - Beadwork Applique on Silk Dupioni Dress
Created over the span of a few months, each applique was created by hand with tambour embroidery. Then each applique was sewn by hand onto a dress constructed of three layers of silk.
Meet the artist
My name is Evie! I am a self-taught textile and beadwork artist. I grew up in Northwestern Ontario, Canada and I'm most inspired by the beautiful wildlife here who call it home.
I specialize in beadwork, but I also enjoy creating with a variety of textiles and mediums.
